Glossary

Aqua (deionized water):

Is water that has had all its ions or minerals removed such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, etc. Due to its ultra pure nature, it is often used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. Water is primarily used in practically all cosmetics and personal care products to dissolve many of the ingredients that impart skin benefits known as actives.

Sodium laurylglucosides hydrosypropylsulfonate?:

A 100% carbon bio-based non-ionic foaming agent derived from non-GMO coconut and corn sugars. It is so mild that is does not strip the skin of its natural oils. It suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.

Glycerin ??:

is one of the oldest and most respected skin humectants. It has been shown to increase the moisture content of the skin and protect it from becoming dry and scaly. Our glycerin is produced from GMO-free Karanja nut (Pongamia glabra) oil.

Gluconolactone?:

A non-GMO and broad spectrum preservative. This polyhydroxy acid is produced by microorganism oxidation of glucose. It provides antioxidant, antibacterial, chelating, deodorizing, moisturizing, skin-conditioning and sun-protective benefits.

Leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate:

An antimicrobial peptide isolated from radish roots that have been subjected to bacterial fermentation. Is a broad spectrum ECOCERT-approved preservative that is considered a safe and effective alternative to parabens.
